It's official - we're getting married at the Santisimo Rosario Church in UST!



As I posted before, we encountered a minor hiccup booking the church. UST didn't have a calendar for next year, because we went in May and the school year was just about to begin then. The parish office was waiting for the university's calendar of activities before allowing the church to be booked for other things. We were told to go back in September, which was stressful for us because that was cutting it real close. The church was the first thing that needed to be booked before any other plans for the wedding can be made.

Then came a breakthrough. My wonderful sister-in-law, Ate Weng, got them to open up their calendar and book us! She works there, so she was able to keep tabs on the church, looking for an opening everyday. When she got the go signal, she texted us immediately, and the fiance and I hied off to UST the very next day.

Aleq and I went on July 15, a Sunday. We went straight to the church, paid the down payment, and that was it. Yay! We celebrated with lunch at Pancake House. Let the chaos begin!
